Hello everyone,

Just bought my PSP today and want to follow the latest guide for moving on a US psp, ta-082 mobo from firmware 2.6 to 3.03 oe-b. Do I just follow this guide? http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/441460/2668941

Do i need to go from 2.6 -> 2.71 then follow the above guide? If so is there a guide for that? Please advise me on which steps to take. I don't want a $200 paperweight. Thanks in advance for your time.

Correct. I can see IC1003 when looking at the board when the umd is open.

(Well, I assume you meant IC1003)

Do I...

a) Follow this guide, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/441460/2668941 and downgrade from 2.6 to 1.5?

or

b) Upgrade from 2.6 to 2.71 and then follow the above guide.

a or b? Sorry, I just want to be sure that I choose the correct method to avoid bricking my psp.
