Thanks. Is there a way to just get the iso in a DVD5 format, and then burn it, using DL is quite expensive, and the new xtreme firmware supports DVD-R.

if you get a game that is xbox 1 game it should be normal 4.3gb iso and if it is a compatible game it should run just fine with the 5.1 + firmwares.

if you are thinking of compressing games that are dl disc you can't do that! or i would be because i don have hd tv and if somehow we could take some hd shit or something out w/e doesn't matter. its just not possible, atleast yet.

sorry let me reprase that.

games that are xbox1 games are usual normal non dl dvd format. they are like approx 4.3gb and if you burn then on normal non dl media it should play fine on a xbox 360 if the game is compatible and has xtreme firmware above 5.0. or w/e firmware that supports non dl disc. just google it to be sure. im sure 5.2 fw does.

Xtreme 5.2 does allow you to burn xbox games to a normal DVD-R, my question is, using the method used to backup 360 games, can i somehow create a iso that will fit on a DVD-R, meaning under 4.5GB?

OMG NOT POSSIBLE. Din't i say you can't compress it. you can't get a any smaller iso unless the game is actually about that size!!

I know you said that, but the problem is, when you make a backup using the hotswap method, doesnt it come out as the size of the dvd that you inserted for the hotswap?
