Try to:

-Use DVD Decrypter to rip with in file mode.
-Make sure the disk is clean.
-Change DVD Shrinks setting to read 32 kb blocks.
-Disable "Burn with Nero" in DVD Shrink preferences.
-You can enable or disable overlapped I/O in the DVD Shrink preferences (it doesn't make much difference on most systems).

-Use DVDFab to rip with http://www.dvdfab.com/mlink/download.php?g=DECRYPTER

-use ripit4me to create a backup with http://www.ripit4me.org/
