First off I boufht SM 2 DVD usa and my kids cracked it some how. I googled for about 4 hours and found Swap magic 3.8 elf, put it on my PSP and am using it for my external drive and I have it starting up with the ps1 mem card exploit...YEAH ME!!!
My problem comes after I do the swap. I use madden NFL 2005 collectors edition (the best madden, FEAR THE D) with a TOC of 6.45GB (naturally this is my disc of choice when the screen says insert bigger TOC disc). There are 4 options on the screen, normal, special, smboot and cheat menu. I hit eject, put in Madden then it says please wait for about 5 secs then4 swap to your own program disc. I use the slide trick open the tray put in my back up and I hit X under normal, select NTSC and it says not a valid ps2 disc. I have tried Special and get the BSOD. SMBOOT is for other exploits so I dont even bother with them. Please tell me where did I screw up if I did.
I dont remember where I got it if you like I can email it to you...pm me with your email addy. I have done the cogswaploader but I dont have dvdloader. I have the program downloaded but I dont have it on disc. I will have to try to get some discs later. Thanx
So your madden is 6.45 gb. That means that it has to be a dual layered disk and maybe that is what it doesn't like try a single layered disk. I am not sure if this will work but it is an idea.
