if i lost my xboxs 360 reicept when i bought it does this mean i basically dont have a warreny...so i should just mod it huh?...and if it does break there are whys to repair it myself without sending it to microsoft?!

It doesn't really mean that. The first two 360's I had, overheated, and I just took them back to Walmart, and didn't have the reicept, and they let me exchange it for a different system. When I got my third system, the lady realized that I kept bringing it back without the reicept and she taped the last reicept on my Box. So if your system ever breaks, you can just take it back to Walmart, even if you didn't buy it there, they will take it.
