Okay another noob here doing Xbox modding. I've modded my version 1.4 Xbox with the Xenium Gold mod chip. At the same time I upgraded the hard drive. Everything went fine until I actually tried to run a game on the console. When I try to run a game the DVD accesses a couple of times and I hear the hard drive accessing a little and then the game just stops booting and hangs. I have localized the problem to the new hard drive. When I put the old drive back in everything works fine. When installing the drive I used the harddrive upgrade wizard that is part of the Xenium Gold OS. There are no error codes being displayed. I get this same problem when trying to run a game from the MS dashboard or the Evolution X dashboard. Do I need to re-format and copy the partitions? Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated.
