I have a foxconn 945 MB 2.80Ghz Pentium D with a Maxtor 160g HD. My CPU fan is the one making all the noise and i also have a program called superstep (fan speed and temp) I can set my fan (CPU) Well the temp gets higher and the fan reacts but the problem is I do not have a clue the temp settings to put these at??? <PWM Start, PWM Full On, for the live of me i can not think of the other but hope someone gets my drift>
If anyone knows the proper settings then please please help

Sorry, bud; this is the PS3 section of the forums. You'll probably get more help if you post it in the right section.

Also, when you say the fan reacts, does that mean it turns on and cools the system down? If so, then I don't see a problem with the default settings that you already have. If that doesn't work, then you'll probably just want to put the settings so that it keeps your case and mobo around 30°C and, at MOST, a CPU temperature of of 50°C.

Finally, I request the mods to move this thread to the correct forums.
