Suspended due to non-functional email address

I got a 80gb External HDD about 6 months ago and it worked fine, but I put it in my PS2 to play games from, my ps2 broke and so I put the hdd back into its case and plugged it into my new laptop. The pc reconises it but I can't access it to format it or anything. it knows its connected but won't do anything else.

Any help

you should go to the PC section with this one.
Only thing i can think of is trying:
1. use the add new hardware function in the control panel to try and find it
2. get a software called Partition Magic and see if it will recognize the drive.

PS2 and PC formats are different but it should still recognize the drive is there.
