imadudeok, lol i agree wit ye completely. But lets help the person out. okay what firmware are you on for a start. you do not need the recovery folder in the directory to access recovery mode. normally if you are on a dark alex 3.xx firmware it will be able to access recovery mode with out having the recovery folder there. the recovery folder is for a brick and you want to downgrade back.
send me some details back an i will help you out. but you really do need to stop making double threads lol

You're on the official 3.03 fw..which mean you can't emulate recovery via the oe fw which means you have to wait for a downgrader for 3.03 and upgrade back to 3.03 oe instead.

there is no way to recover, or downgrade firmware 3.03. so your pretty much stuck with it. there will be a downgrader soon cause they just found an exploit a couple of days ago.

umm, that would be number one, but you also need to put the libpsardumper.prx in there too, dont no why but i downgraded with them files n it worked. that is defanitely correct because that is the actual recovery folder you get with 3.02 oe-a firmware, and it tells you to put the 1.50 update in too with the name of UPDATE.PBP.
XD hope that helped you
pspcrazt2 thanks for the help mate.

Okayyyy. What you do is download the 3.02 oe-a upgrade firmware. Don't worry you do not have to instal it, it merely contains the RECOVERY Folder. The folder is in flasher for recover. Then you place the actual recovery folder in the ms0:\psp\game directory. you should have four files in there:
decryptprx.prx,
EBOOT.PBP,
extprxs.pbp,
libpsardumper.prx.
You need to place one more file in there which is the 1.50 update file, place it in there then rename it to UPDATE.PBP. And if you ever need to downgrade, you switch your psp on whilst holding the R trigger, you will access recovery mode, then you select the third option which is "run program at psp/game/recovery/eboot" or something similair. Once you accept the agreement you will be downgraded back down to firmware 1.50.

lol i know you only wanted to know where to get the recovery folder, but i thought i would give some noobs who loke at this thread a little tutorial. XD lol.

Actually if you didn't find out yet there is a 3.03 downgrader already. It's kinda old news and I'm guessing you already know there is a 3.03 downgrader I'm just making sure you know there is a 3.03 downgrader
