I'm unable to burn a Mode2 file...

I have backed up about 5 PS2 game succesfully over the past 4 or 5 months now. When I ripped those games, they were in mode 1. But now I have two games (one in ISO, one in MDS/MDF). Anyways THESE games I downloaded and they are in mode 2 format. When I use imgburn to burn them onto DVD, I get an error message saying it isn't the right "format" and it asks me if I want to continue with the burning process. I did and they aren't recognized by the PS2. I should also point out that im burning each game onto it's own disk...don't want to confuse you into thinking otherwise.

I am wondering if there is a way to either:
burn these games despite the fact that they are in mode 2
or
change them into mode 1 type files and then burn them

I tried searching for an answer but got nothing which is why I'm posting this.
