Problems viewing streamed video (WMP 10)

I'm trying to watch a streamed video online (.wmv format) and when I open the page, it just doesn't buffer. All it says is "Ready".

When I check the errors I get this (C00D1198):

"Windows Media Player cannot connect to the server. The server name might not be correct, the server might not be available, or your proxy settings might not be correct."

Does anyone have a fix or workaround for this?
