Hi,
I think I have unblocked my phone but when I put my other sim card in the phone comes up with the message "sim card rejected"

Could you tell me what I'm doing (or have done wrong)? And how I can get it to work?

Nokia 6230
IMEI: 355008009811781
locked to Vodafone (uk)

Well I put in a code and got the message "phone restriction off" (or something simular) I took this to mean it's unlocked?

the code I used was #pw+083393103155103+1#

I will try another sim and report back in a mo.

Yeah I've put an orange one in and it works fine - it is just coming up "sim not registered" with my 3 sim card (which works fie in my 6280.

Any ideas?

I dont know good UK-sims,very likely other model sim(old modell e.t.c).And -how many codes did you tried?This -the code I used was #pw+083393103155103+1# OK.

i think it must be a sim problem because it won't register in my old 7210 either.

I will have to give 3 a ring to see if there is anything they can do.

I only want to use the 6230 for a few days while they repair my crappy 6280 (which seems to have lots of things wrong with it!)

Got an answer in the end.

Apparently it's because the 3 sim card is a 3G sim card and the other two phones do not support 3G.
