I crashed my psp hard in my bagpack yesterday while rollerblading.. its dead now.. fckd the whole screen and maybe the lens... only 2 weeks of use :( got a little scratch in the front but the lcd is destroyed... i still can hear the sound coming from xmb but when i put the umd the psp freezes..
I`m from Brazil and I'm spending vacations in USA.. Going back next Wednesday and there's no Sony technical support for PSP in there...
Is there any possibility of exchanging it for a new one at the store? What can I do ?
If not, teach me some lies i could use to get a new one... lol
thanks
Is the screen cracked or anyhting like that? If not then you can just say i was playing it, set it down to go to get soem food came back it was a black screen i thought it went into sleep mode but now i cant see the picture. Might work.
Dude, even if you can't get 'em to give you an exchange, you can always buy a new face plate, that if what's broken is only the outside part of the screen, if it's the inside, you're pretty much screwed, unless you're a good liar.
garotihno take your psp to the store and tell them its not longer working, they dont care , just show the receipt, try to go to the store, when its a crowded, so they are busy and the wont put much attention on checking the psp
Well your still covered by the standard warranty so if you want to, take into the store, make sure it's packed just as it came with all the accessories and their are no obvious damage marks.
If their is a BIG CRACK down the screen that's gonna be quite obvious that you damaged it yourself and I wouldn't return it if I were u.
But if the screens just dead and the PSP looks normal say you were downloading a firmware update and it froze and now it won't turn on at all. It's quite common.
