Need help with X-Chip install/bios for V1.6

My XBox is v1.6 or 1.6b (not sure how I tell the difference). I just got my X-Chip from Easybuy2000.com. I also purchased the v1.6 solderless adapter they sell. I tried to install it on my v1.3, but quickly realized the plastic adapter piece they sent doesn't work. So I opened up my other box (1.6)

Got the adapter installed, turned on the box and got the 5 blue LEDs I'm supposed to see. Then I installed the X-Chip. When I turned it back on I got the 5 blue LEDs on the adapter and the red LED on the X-Chip. I initially flashed EvolutionX Build 3935 to Bank 12. When I started up the box I get the dreaded FRAG (flashing red and green). After searching several boards, I found one here that talks about having to use EvolutionX M8+ for version 1.6 boards. I found it, and flashed it to banks 2-3. I set the M8+ to Boot. The first time I powered up I went to the normal Xbox screen for setting the time/date. What did I do wrong? Or what do I still need to do?

Help NEEDED! Please.
