Bricked PSP?

Here is the situation.

I upgraded my PSP from 3.03 OE-A to 3.03 OE-C. My iso would not even show up on memory card like they used to. I remembered having to do the recovery thing. Big mistake this time. I went to recovery mode. did the recovery to 1.5.
restarted manually.
psp turns on but only to black screen. green light is on. memory card light is on. psp never shuts off.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i have recovery mode but my psp wont boot to it. i recovered my psp to 1.5. then it started not working. i dont understand. it was done and said to restart psp. so i did and now its dead. i dont see how this is helping people yet it messed up mine.

no. my psp just boots to a black screen. i hold R trigger but nothing. I have dont the screen bright button trick but to no avail. i have no idea what happened. it was plugged in and everything. when i finished the recovery it said restart manually thats why i think maybe i cant get into recovery.

see the only problem i have is that i have read that when its bricked the psp will shut off but mine doesnt.

some bricks will stay on after being powered on. holding R will not do anything considering you are on 1.5. the recovery option is only for OE or SE firmware. Sorry to say but u have a brick.

U can buy used from gamestop. U can buy another motherboard and replace the bricked one. You can sell it as a brick on ebay.

i got mine fixd at a place called fixtronics in auckland and sony got the bill hahahahahahah and i got it back on 2.71 and downgraged it and now its running 3.03 oe-c and i just sent a friends away and got it fixed and i just rang them and asked them to put it on 2.71 and i got it back and they had :) another downgrade :) fuc* sony
