TA-082\TA-086 downgrade??

Hi
I got a new psp lately since my old one got all scratched up and everything. When i got my psp i figure it was one of the TA-082/TA-086 motherboard and downgraded it to 1.5 then to 3.03 oe-c. I was going to sell my old one on ebay or something, the other psp is one of the old 2.0 firmware downgrade to 1.5 psp. So i was wondering should i keep the old motherboard or the new motherboard. I was thinking about keeping the new one because the chip hasnt been flashed as much as the old one, but was wondering if there are any compabiblity issues with the TA-082/TA-086 motherboards.

None that I know of. Never looked at a side by side comparison.

There has been some problems with ta-082 downgrades and custom firmware.

Mine worked fine to downgrade. It was a 2.71. As long as the correct downgrader is used all should be fine.

If he is questioning whether or not the board can be a drop in replacement with an older psp, then I absolutely have no idea.

2.71 -> 1.50 -> 3.02 OE-A -> 3.02 OE-B -> 3.03 OE-C

Thats why I said SOME, not all. Like I said it has been known to cause problems. As far and few between they may be. It still happens.
