HLP With SMS Media Player

Good Day All
Working with ps2 Slimline with fliptop and swapmagic Ver 3.6
Trying to boot up a good media player with no luck.
Latest attempt was cd-rw with SMS Meida Player;
Open CDGenPS2, and in order:
Drag system.cnf into the main window.
Drag BOOT.ELF into the main window.
Drag SMS.ELF into the main window.
right click system.cnf -> edit.
choose Fix LBA, and enter '12231' and press ok
Add a few MP3's
Save Image
Burn with Nero
Boot swap Magic (cd-version)
Swap with Cd-RW
Selected Normal boot
RECEIVED MESSAGE "NO VALID PS2 DISC"
Can anyone please tell me where I made my error(s)
Or is there a easier way to play DivX and mp3 off of your ps2
