Hi,

I have recently received a commision to make a promotional DVD for the school I work in. Up until now, we have been using camcorders around the £200 mark, but since this one will showcase the school it needs to be top quality.

I have been told to price up what we would need, and have something between £600 and £1000. However, this may be negotiable.

Problem is, i don't know what we need. Would a £600 model do the job, or do I need to go to £1000 for the quality I need. And would £1000 buy me one that is the low end of the pro-market, and therefore not as good.

Please help!
