what format does the psp format the memory stick in because i heard that formatting in FAT16 is faster.

formatting ur psp's memory stick erases everything on it. at least, the formatting option that ur select in ur psp's xmb

i know that but what im asking is which file system is faster to use, the FAT that psp does or FAT16 or FAT32?

what ever you do don't format to fat32...the write speed is faster and you "save space" but what lose is gameplay speed and valuable space!
