HDloader + swap magic + USB HDD

Hi, I have been using swapmagic for a while now and im getting tired of the 100's of disks flying around my room.
If i put HDloader on a USB memory stick and go buy a random USB HDD will I just be able to keep the SM disk in boot off the HDD?
Oh and is there many compatability problems with USB HDD's?(i have a V15 PS2)

U cant use hdloader, u have to use usbadvance.
But the compatibility of games for that is from 5% - 10% at most.

It really sucks. :)
