Okay....

Backround:
Running a Windows XP PC with 512 RAM
Using: FRESH pack Verbatim DVD + R
Drive: LG GSA - 4163 B ( Latest firmaware installed)

Then , copied ISO off my Hitman DVD (works perfectly) to hard drive using DVD Decryptor. (Read at 16x?? is this the problem)

Then , put in fresh VERBATIM DVD ( for the 3rd time) , set it to burn at 2x (also tried 4 x and 1x ) , it goes fine , then it always bombs somewhere in the process with:

I/O Error

Device: skdhfsjdfkds ( DVD Drive)

SCSIStatus: 0 x 20
Interpretation: Check condition

I have also tried Nero 6 , and I get " communication error"!!

PLEASE can some of the experts here help me out.... I am really desperate :((((

you may actually want to post this in the PC hardware section.
There may be someone there who has seen this error before since it deal with your PC and burner and not a game system.
