Im using a pioneer dvr k16 burner.

im using 16x verbatim DVD+R (mcc 004)

alcohol 120% to rip/burn

have booktype set to dvd rom.

i have read all the stickies in this thread.

i noticed something peculiar in the burning process. I set the write speed to 8x. however during the first part of the burn it writes at 2.4 x then a few minutes later it goes to 4x then 6x then sometimes at the end it will get close to 8x.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

are using swapmagic or do you have a mod chip?

dude i'm having the same problem man... i even went out and bought a new DVD Burner.. an LG GSA-H22L from Best Buy.. i also got the 16x Verbatim DVD+R (mcc 004) silver plated ones.... NOTHING..

ive used. Nero, Alcohol120, DVD Decrypter & IMGBURN..& MEDIA's

I figured it out. I used DVD Decrypter to burn the image i made with Alcohol 120%. For some reason that worked.

i would skip using Alcohol at all. Just use DVD Decrypter to make the image and then burn it. Easiest way.
