When i did the back up i did also enable the little window to see if it was backing up the whole movie and it was so here is my question why did i not get the whole movie? btw i am using AnyDVD shrink 3.2 not sure what 3.2 is and decrypter the dvd's were not encrypted except saw again please explain in a way i can understand some of this is good stuff for those who know the computer language sorry if this stops anyone from helping me. Thanks in advance. Burn one for me..
Welcome to AD and don't be discouraged about not knowing the term's used in here I know it can be overwhelming sometimes but keep your head up you came to the right place for help. :-)
It is a little hard to help you with your problem without first knowing what steps you take when backing up your DVD, but I have a suggestion for you. See that link in my signature below? Click on the guides and use the DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter guide (I believe it is the 4th guide) with your AnyDVD running in the back ground and then let us know how that turns out. This should produce a playable movie for your DVD Player.
Let us know how it works out for you one way or the other,

The experts on this site can be very helpful to a newbie. They are
very patient. I too had trouble learning all the terms.
I backed up both of the movies you mentioned using AnyDVD and Shrink.
With AnyDVD and Shrink I burned an ISO file. (An ISO file is one
that is put on your hard drive. Then you close shrink and use that
file with your burning program.). I have Nero also, but almost with
out exception use a free program called Imgburn because it is so
simple. The DVD's I've burned play on my computer and most free
standing DVD players as long as you use either the + or - disc that
the particular DVD player supports. A list of which format can be
played on which player is in the book that comes with the player.
There are some guides submitted by forum members. They are in
another part of the afterdawn forum list. They can be very helpful
to newbies.
If there is a term you don't understand, just ask and somebody who
knows always explains it.
We all start somewhere. They have me listed as a Junior Member, but
I still feel like a newbie. Learn something new everyday.
