does anyone think i am wasting my time looking for help with this box?or is cause i am a newbie(what ever that means?)please please please could anyone with any know how help a sports fan who has got a little girl driving him mad for disney channel.

No, you can flash it then connect it to the TV for scanning channels.

Flash as in connect NULL MODEM lead to PC & Eurovox to download software.
