dbox 2 pin plug??

Hi folks, just got the dbox, I knew it was coming with a 2 pin plug so was going to use my shaver adaptor, the thing is i've checked it and it only has a 1 amp fuse in it, should I source a bigger fuse- it's not a standard size fuse, or should i chop it of and put a standard 3amp 3 pin plug on?
on the end of the 2 pin cable it says 2.5amp 250v.

Safer to chop it off and fit a standard 3 pin plug with a 3amp fuse.
