DVD burning error. illigal disc.

Hi. Can somebody help me with a this problem i'm having with my DVD burning. I use a SONY notebook and SONY DVD-R media. illegal disc. while i've burnt quite a few DVD's with the same media & Nero combination i've lost about 8 DVD's to this error since last night. i also tried the 'Sony DW-Q520A DVD-RW Firmware HYS2 download [FileName:HYS2WIN.EXE'] but installation failed. can somebody please help. thank you.

it looks like ur burner doesn't like the media u r using.
U could try ImgBurn to burn that ISO, and see if it fails too, the firmware page is down right now but that might help with the disks.
Note, IMO i wouldn't use Nero for burning ISO files.
also when doing the firmware update make sure u dont have a disk in the drive.
