Just purchased a Polaroid BurnMAX24EX external writer with NTI software no problem burning, playback in home audio and pc work well but in my car some disk start off playing fine but when you go to changing tracks it constantly searches for a track and usually cant't find it some disk don't even start at all. I've tried nero burning software with same results I've tried imation and memorex disk at slow burning speeds still no better I have burned cd's in the past with an older burner on my 166 mhz pc and had no problem playing in car but that burner burned out........Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I would continue experimenting with different media and lowering the write speed. Also you can look for firmware updates as they do sometimes affect burn quality. Have a look at our CD-R media forum for sugggestions

The old school is back. All hail the new http://BitBurners.com !
