are these Taiyo discs the proper ones?

Can anyone tell me if these Taiyo dvd's are the real deal? They are 'verbatim' branded but they seem really cheap for a Taiyo product...

those are Verbatim discs and will work just fine as long as they are genuin.

Personally i do not care for 16X or DVD+R though
I like the 8X DVD-R like these that use the TYG02 dye like the kind i buy.

My dvd burner is not compatible with DVD+R, only DVD-R so I will have to get those.
