i have spyware doctor installed on my computer about 3 years ago,i paid for that and downloaded on my computer,but now i keep on getting messages to renew it,why should i do it when i had already paid for the software,it is still on my computer,what can i do,it is still working

In short, the Spyware Doctor software "expires" after 1 year. It can still scan and do some other functions but I believe removal and updating are eliminated. To get these major functions back one needs to purchase another year of service from PC Tools.

No problem. I also believe it is being sold in stores so if you happen to see it at your local electronics store you could update/purchase it that way to.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

It is a excellent tool and in my opinion better than most if not all free tools out there.
There is also AVG Anti-Spyware. It was formerly ewido antispyware but was bought out by AVG. The link is. . .

I would recommend using these 2 with either Ad-Aware and/or Spybot Search and Destroy. Do you have anti-virus?
