Ok i read the tutorial and this is how im gonna go abou

1)Take apart the 360 (seems easy and yes i know my warranty is gone when i do this)

connect the drive to my pcs sata cable(does it have to be in mode b?)

backup firmware then dump firmware(what's the best firmware?)

lol.. well you need to tell us the type of drive you have. yes the drive needs to be in mode b.. the hitachi anyway.. and once we know what drive you have we can tell you what firmware to get.. if you have samsung then xtreme 5.2 is best.. and if you have hitachi you will want gary opa 2.3 revision 2. using textbooks guide you will have absolutly no problem getting your drive flashed in under 10-15 mins.. as long as you have all the tools and hardware to get the job done.. it is a very simple process.

hi motomods,

If I already modded my Xbox360 with another FW. So now I want to mod my xbox with gary opa 2.3 that you recommended, then do I need to restore my original firmware before I flash it ?

yes as boston84 said, you must reflash he original back to hitachi drives.
