dms4 ezi lite software not working

I was using my dms 4 for a good while with the toxic software installed working no problem. But the software has completely dissapeared from my ps2, i open up the ps2 to check for loose connections etc but everything was fine i checked the eject buttons as well but still no joy. I tryed rebooting the software also on the chip and jus got the r.s.o.d. I recently lost my ps2 memory card would this have anything to do with the problem?? Would any software from toxic be saved on the memory card?
