hi all, i have been using a sony dcr trv245e digital 8 camcorder for two years and its fine, i have not used it for about 6 months and went to use it today but there is a problem,i charged the battery as required(it was dead) and turned it on but the was no picture of what i should be looking at to film.(no , the lens cap IS off!!!:))
i have used the lcd screen and viewfinder but no picture on both. i have pressed record and it records all the sounds but no picture.
the tape in the machine has last years recordings on it and i can play that back fine(picture and sound)everything on the camcorder(light,menus etc) all are working fine, i have taken alot of care that it never gets wet or bashed and its as new but out of guarentee.it was fine when i put it in ints case end of the summer and havent used it since,so it hasent been disturbed.
any ideas why sound but no picture????
