Are we gonna be able to back up DVD-Audio discs ?

With the advent of a new media in the works for audio discs namely DVD-Audio are we gonna be able to use the same system to back these discs up that we use to back up movie discs we have in our collections ?
ie. are they gonna come out with a new method of copyright protection? or use the same standards they use now for movies ?

There is a new copy-protection and AFAIK no one has been able to crack it yet.
