Since I've gotten my PSP working properly, a buddy now wants me to get his working (same buddy that had me mod his Xbox, same buddy that had me setup dual boot for Linux, same buddy that always wants something technical done... I need to get a new buddy). ;D

Anyhow, before I go tampering, would someone mind reviewing my plan and point out any glaring mistakes?

His PSP: TA-082 mobo and upgraded from 2.6 to 2.81 (against my explicit instructions).

My plan(?): Track down an unpatched GTA:LC Stories, upgrade him from 2.81 -> 3.03, Downgrade from 3.03 -> 1.5, Upgrade from 1.5 -> 3.10 OE-A.

I've got the basic notes for the 3.03 -> 1.5 and I realize that I'm being a little generic with the steps (i.e.: somewhere there is the matter of GTA:LC using its included 2.0 update). But does the basic idea seem proper here?

Having just started tinkering with the PSP on my own, I'd like to make sure I'm at least on the right road before we start negotiating exactly how much Guinness I get for this one.
