After like 7 hours or something, it created two files, including an mp2 file. I tried opening that one in Winamp, but it wasn't playing anything. I figured it was probably a special kind of file or something that Winamp couldn't play, so I kept going.
Then with DVDshrink I opened the files to save it as an ISO, but then in the preview when tried playing the file, there was no sound at all. This is a problem, because there normally is sound when I do this.
I still tried making the ISO, but surely enough when I mount it and play it in windows media player or WinDVD 6, there is no sound at all.
Does anyone have an idea where it could have gone wrong?
This is what AVICodec says about my original file:
2 things to do as TMPGEnc is terrible at audio. In main window at option>environmental settings>VFAPI Plugin, raise the priority of Directshow Multimedia File Reader to 2 by riight clicking on it and choosing toraise the priority. Also, create a wav file to use as the audio in TMPGEnc: http://www.videohelp.com/virtualdubaudio.htm It's free.
