I just recieved my v12 ps2 with DMS4 SE Pro with Toxic OS 0.41 & HDCombo from a modding website. I have tested an original PSX game, FF9, and it worked perfectly. I burnt Final Fantasy Tactics using Alcohol 120% using the methods described on this website: http://jansforums.jconserv.net/viewtopic.php?t=37

tested the game and my results were: Screen flashed/flickered before loading PS1 logo, then it loaded the Squaresoft logo screen and thats when the laser started repeatedly trying to read the disc (thats what it sounded like anyways) and it couldn't get past that screen. Have to reset.

I then tried burning the same game using a write speed of 8x instead of 12x.. the lowest my CD's can go, which by the way are Sony 700mb CD-R's. Same result.

What is the problem? Is it the CD-R's I am using? the settings or what? please help :|
