i have the RECOVERY folder installed under x:PSP/GAME and am hopefully safe if the unfortunate where to happen but i do have on question....I have heard people mention that the recovery will fix semi-bricked PSP's but will it fix a fully bricked PSP? like if you are upgrading to 3.10 OE-A and it corrupts the flash and all you get is a black screen and a green light?

Nope, thats why people say it will only fix partial bricks. BTW u dont need the recovery files on there at all times. Recovery menu can mount the memstick thru USB as a removable drive so u can add the files on even if ur PSP is bricked.
