CAN ANY ONE HELP JUST SETTING A NEW STARVIEW BOX UP WHEN I SWITCH THE EMU ON AND THE DATA STARTS UPDATING ITS ONLY GETTING TO 60% THEN STOPS ANY HELP APPRECEIATED THANKS.

i have just got 3 boxes delivered today 2 set up fine it was just the last 1 so i presume the soft ware is all up to date

well id def re loaad the sortware on iy toyr self , that way you will def be sure its been loaded correctly

fekker to the rescue again, also feker i have deleted 1 of my sky sports channels when putting them in order is there any way of finding it again cheers.

Yes, FTP to your DBox & go to the Zappit folder & delete MYSERVICES.XML.

So it is, momentary lapse of brainpower there, sorry ;-)
You can also transfer the settings from a working box to the other one.
1. CONNECT BOXES WITH RS232 CABLE
2. CONNECT SOURCE BOX TO TV, GOTO MENU, CHOOSE USER SETUP,
GOTO 'SW TRANSFER', CHOOSE 'CODE SW' AND PRESS OK
3. AFTER TRANSFER IS FINISHED, BOX WILL BOOT UP BY ITSELF

NO JOY ON THAT ONE. AFTER THE BOX REBOOTED FLICKED THROUGH ALL THE CHANNELS STILL NO SKY SPORTS. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP ANYWAY FEKKER.

if i take my box back to factory settings will i just reflash with the data you told me earlier.and get all my channels back
