The 360 version is a bit expensive, this might be a pathetic question. Instead of using Microsoft one, cant we just use a Wireless USB Adapter?

The Logitech Play Link just arrvied to myhouse today and ill tell you how it works out on my 360. Basically, its like a wireless ethernet bridge and theres two tranrecievers (one conenct to the 360 and the other to your modem/router). Once they sucessfuly locate eachtoher, you can go on live wirelessly. I got it for about $45 from ebay.

lol okay i tested it. Its been superb. Im happy i didnt shell out $100 for microsfot's network adapter WHAT A RIP-OFF. The setup was pain-free and i just had to connect the transrecivers to the 360 and to the router(no cd setup/installing software). I did however experience a little lag in halo 2(although that happenned when i connected before on xbox live using an ethernet cable so im not too sure) and i havent tried it in GOW yet :D . The transrecievers are quite small (i thought they were huge but thyre about the size of rubik;s cube). So i recommend you buy it (since its not avaible in the stroe, you could buy from like ebay). Hope you buy it lol!

wireless isnt so nice, it doesnt run at full speed, unless your sitting right beside your router, and even then you may not get full speed

Wireless worries me. I just got a laptop with wireless and it's incredible how many people's connections it picks up. Not too mention the people I've met who claim to do such things as tap their PSP into someone's connection and look at porno.

i have the logitech play link thing also. it does what it's supposed to, but it is pretty slow! i get a maximum transfer speed of only 80-90 kbps. i have it connected to my original xbox, and transfering movies and larger files took forever!
i wouldn't recommend it, unless you are too cheap to shell out the $ for the original 360 wireless network adapter (which is just insane for what they charge). look on ebay for the 360 wireless adapter. I got mine brand new for $50 including shipping. although i had trouble getting it to work with my router. but it was the firewall and once i got around that, worked like a charm and quick too.
