im sorry if its been posted before, but i did search and found nothin.. ok so anyways i got a new mobo for my psp and it was a TA-086 with 2.71 my question is can i just downgrade with the 2.71 downgrader for the TA-082

yeah the Ta-082 2.71 downgrader is for ta-082+ plus 2.71 PSP's.

If i remember correctly, the 3.03 downgrader has a function where it detects your motherboard, and if its a TA086, patches it before downgrading, thus making sure the downgrade goes smoothley.

So my advice would be to upgrade to 3.03 then downgrade.
