I heard from someone that I know that their friend put Mac OX X on their PS3. I that possible? He said his friend just used the "other OS" installer. Is it really that obvious that all you do is put the OS installer disk in and launch the os installer thing?

Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

I wouldnt see why it wouldnt work, MAc OX is based on Unix, both Linux and Unix use alot of the same kernal.. I was just reading somewhere about mac and linux being very simular and some are putting both OS on thier Macs.

well, untill someone creates an bootloader for osx, then its not possible. after that, it will be. its a matter of time and of possibility.

But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

The only OS's that will run on the PS3 have to be built for the PPC architecture. Which means no Windows(not really a bad thing). The OtherOS installer also requires a bootloader (otheros.bld) for the specific OS you want to install, so as said previously, it is not possible till someone develops a bootloader for the PS3 and OSX.
