i own a ps2 PAL with no other attachements

i want to format it but i don't have a modchip
i have corrupted data on it

do a search of the fiorums, i saw this question answered just last week. There is a program out there that can format the card.

You should be able to format your memory card using only the ps2. Put the memory card in, and start your ps2 up. If there is no disc in the drive, it shows the ps2 screen. Go into your memory card and it should have a button telling you how to format.
