na, get a Hong Kong, I am in NZ (PAL) with a HK 60gb (NTSC), the thing about HK it has NTSC and PAL in the same market place and SONY are going to bring out a patch that will allow both PAL and NTSC to play on a HK PS3 (Games only not DVD)

well new zealand got PAL ps3 today and with the 1.60 update my NTSC plays PAL and NTSC so games are truly region free wahooo
