ProShow Gold 3.0 Audio Problems

The audio tracks imported have a lot of static noise incorporated in ProShow Gold. When I listen to the audio tracks outside ProShow Gold, they are clean and perfect.

Has any problem like this been reported? Are there any options to control when importing audio tracks. These are standard mp3 tracks that I had ripped a long time ago from my CDs.
