I have got a psp and i have brough the clear case mod for both the face plant and the back of the psp including umd door. I can fit the faceplant but i can't see any way to take the back part and the umd door off.
Any ideas?

Thanks. The UMD stuff is great and i asume that by the time i have taken that much stuff off it should be obvious for the rest. The video is ok but it only disasemples some things and unfortunately not the motherboard and the backpalte

yeah..but i just thought that it would just pop out like after acouple of screws come out..but maybe im wrong..OH i jus got a WHITE backcase with the UMD Door Memorystick Door and things shipped out.it should be here like in acouple of days.i cant wait till it gets here.now the only thing i need to get now is a white faceplate to go with the same white color that the backcase.so in acouple of days (hopefully) ill be in the same boat as you :)

Yeah good luck. Let me know how hard it is.
In my opinion surely you should just be able to lift the whole inside out without taking every component off

Just a question how much does the clear case mod cost?
And is it fully transparent plastic or like sort of frosted or what?

i can confirm the sellers legit i got mine off him,only took a coulpe of days for the delivery.
its a not too hard to do but im used to taking psp's apart.

If you know your way around a psp could you please say if we can lift out the whole of the inside of the psp without taking the screen etc off first.

yeah brickz thats what i was saying.there had to be a way to be able to take out liek 3/4ths of it without having to take all the little parts out n everything.im still waiting on my white back casing. and im still looking for a white original sony psp faceplate (jap) for cheap.....anyone got any ideas?!?!??!

lmao,no you need to take the screen off to get to more screws to take the metal tray out,then you get to the mobo,then theres other bits under the mobo,you should be able to tell what you need to unscrew by looking at it.
about the white front case just buy one off ebay it doesnt have to be a jap case
