Using textbooks .pdf tutoral, i've flashed a few samsungs and a few "non" 78 hitachi drives...........but i'm on my first 78 drive and i'm confused on something.

The guilde leaves the impression that when you get it into mode b and insert a dvd disc to be recongnized under windows, that you leave the disc in when flashing, is this correct? The guide doesn't say to take it out, but i didn't think it wise to do so, so i'm asking first.

yes leave the disk in the drive or else it wont work.
