Hi, i had an error 21 on my xbox for along time so i decided to fix the problem.
Initially, i download xboxhdm with slayer 2.7 final. I compiled xboxhdm with slayer and burnt the iso to disk and hotswapped my xbox.
Next, i installed slayer c:> from the disk to my xbox harddrive. This gave my xbox its ms dash back.
Soon after i compiled xboxhdm with ndure in order to install EvoX. I burnt the iso to disk and hotswapped my xbox once again.
I backed up my xbox harddisk and performed a full harddisk rebuild and also formated and rebuilt the f: drive
Once completed i relocked my xbox harddrive and rebooted, the xbox loaded fine, with the LED on the front of the xbox GREEN, then EvoX loaded as expected, giving me an orangeEvoX unleashX dash. When the EvoX dash loaded with LED on the front of the xbox turned ORANGE. Im not sure why it does this, but from what i have read, im lead to assume that the LED turns orange due to overheating.
So i took my xbox apart and checked GPU, CPU, HeatSinks, the Fan etc... everything seems fine. Considering i couldnt find the problem, i just tried to play an original game...
Now when i load an original game, i wait and wait, and the game doesnt load, but what i do notice is that xbox is playing the game as a music cd/dvd rom, as i can see: 'Track 1 - playing'
This is also the same for backup games. I receive the same problem that the game doesnt load and the xbox tries to play the disk as music.
I would be gratreful for any help on this matter, on how to fix this problem, so i can use my xbox again... its been 3 long months =(
