1 red light ? Broken 360 ?

I JUST got my 360 back from repair. I play GoW for a hour. And it freezes.

I turn it back on. And I get 1 red light ? I thought 3 was the death signal. So I bitch, scream, cry, whine, for 2 hours. I turn it on it's side (Standing-up). And it worked like nothing was wrong...

Note; The games were getting SUPER hot. That didn't happen with my first DVD drive.

Question - It is basicly a matter of time ? Has anyone has this problem ?
