I have an avi film and its in 2 parts, i want to merge them together as 1 avi and then burn it to dvd-r?

hi,i have the same prob. i want to put 2 avi's onto dvd-r and with the best outcome. can somebody plzz help i need to know the best possible way on how to do it. thanx for anyones help.

If the avis have the same resolution, you can load them in VirtualDub or virtualdubmod, and in the File menu click on append segment, then choose the AVI you wish to append. After taht go into the Video menu and make sure Direct Stream Copy is selected.
Save the file.
