I note that some of my recorded programs (in today's case LOST)have 'dropout' or some sort of digital loss that is consistent with each viewing. I.e., it's part of the recording. Some of the recordings are incredibly perfect. However, and my question is WHY, the recording has lots of digital dropout..reminds me of when I used to watch DISH or DirectTV and there'd be a storm. This is over OpenBand Cable.
